Unemployment Insurance (UI) and Other Benefit Information

If your employment has been interrupted due to COVID-19 (fewer or no work hours, if you have been laid off, if you have been disabled as a result of), you can apply for Unemployment Insurance benefits.

If you are unsure of whether you should go to work or not, please contact your employer directly. 

There is no waiting period to apply. The Governor’s executive order waives the one-week waiting period for Unemployment Insurance.

You can file a claim online, by phone, mail or fax. It is highly recommended that you apply online. It is easy and fast.

Job Link also offers specialized services for individuals who are Older Adults (55+), Youth and Young Adults (16-24) and Spanish speakers.
